STRIKE TEAMS RESPOND TO FLOODING IN OKLA., KAN.

Members of the Atlantic and Gulf Strike Teams deployed Wednesday and today to assist the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in response to major flooding in parts of Oklahoma and Kansas.

Four members from the Atlantic Strike Team responded to an oil spill at the Coffeyville Resources refinery in Coffeyville, Kan.  Team members will assist with oil spill contractor oversight and booming operations.

Six members from the Gulf Strike Team will assist the EPA with flood response in Nowata, Okla., by providing site safety and contactor oversight.
