PACIFIC STRIKE TEAM ASSISTS EPA AT ABANDONED MERCURY MINE |
Two members of the Pacific Strike Team deployed Sunday to assist the Environmental Protection Agency at an abandoned mercury mine near Clearlake Oaks, Calif.
The PST members will provide health and safety oversight, contractor supervision and air quality monitoring at the Sulphur Bank Mercury Mine, which closed in 1957 leaving behind production waste.
