Unified Command to Host Media Availability at Command Post
|
PASADENA, Texas - The Unified Command established for post-Hurricane Ike oil and hazardous materials response will host a media availability at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the command post here.
Unified Command members from the Environmental Protection Agency, Coast Guard, Texas General Land Office and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will be available to explain the goverment's pollution response in the wake of the hurricane.
All members of the media wishing to attend must RSVP by 1:30 p.m. at (252) 267-3662. Attendants will be visible from the street with information on parking and entry to the building.
